Dorit Kemsley, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star who was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of a restaurant this weekend, was seen for the first time Tuesday night in her home, enjoying an evening out with her husband.
A witness spotted Kemsley at the eatery 9FIVE in West Hollywood Saturday, where she and her husband — the reality star Paul Nassif — had met for dinner. The day before, Nassif’s personal assistant told the staff that Nassif had been robbed and released a picture of a handgun that the aide took from a handgun. Nassif claims that Kemsley was not robbed by Nassif.
The witness wrote on Instagram: “Heard a screaming voice, heard a car park behind where our restaurant was being picked up, a vehicle being backed out and a woman screaming her heart out to her husband on the side of the vehicle. Crazy how people go to the place they choose to be looked at and are not feared, but a person they feel they can relax with and harass with guns in their hands does not care. Is she trying to frighten people? It’s crazy how people are quiet or scared when someone like this is hanging around. Let’s protect people like this.”
The voice belonged to Kemsley, and the witness asked what was going on.
“Dorit says she was threatened and jumped by her husband’s assistant,” the witness wrote. “They opened the door to the car, when she took the picture, they sped off and drove out of frame.”
A source told RadarOnline on Monday: “She was absolutely terrified and believed the whole incident was a hoax and orchestrated by Paul because he wanted her out of the picture.”
On Tuesday, the 31-year-old reality star was seen from a distance, according to a TMZ photographer, walking into her new house.
On Monday, Nassif posted an Instagram photo of himself looking thin and trying to hide from the camera as he sat in the car, while a handgun lay on the console. He captioned the photo: “My #1 fan is as beautiful as a beautiful woman, as intelligent as a man and as hard working as a work horse,” adding: “Neither of them will ever leave me.”
The next day, Nassif posted a second Instagram photo, with the caption, “Anyone knows how dumb and desperate this society is that will never understand and be able to defend the rights of another individual? …. The world we live in can be very scary. We have to defend the right of all human beings. Not just those that you choose to love.”
Asked what’s going on with the extortion allegations Nassif, a plastic surgeon, told Radar, “I am not commenting at all. The story is complete bullshit.”
Police told the publication Tuesday that detectives are investigating the robbery and the use of a gun. Nassif was not injured.
It’s unclear when Kemsley will be leaving the series.
