Debbie LeTourneau is no longer the Director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD). In a Sept. 4 tweet LeTourneau responded to criticism of her response to a reporter’s question on the CDC mandate for vaccine exemptions for essential workers. Below is a response from a publicist responding to the question from Ms. LeTourneau who is now Director of the NCIRD.

“@NCIRDDr LeTourneau didn’t reply to the DC Fed that had tweeted a question to her about the mandate (NCIRD can’t use a reporter’s questions to justify this mandate)” – First ContributionPossible Image Utilizing #VaccineExemptionInfo #GAIN #NCIRD #PFS https://t.co/elvOoQmdQC — Fox News Help (@FoxNewsHelp) September 4, 2018

It appears the official White House Correspondents Association (WHCA) twitter account is adopting a similar line against vaccination protesters as well:

Our association appreciates @DrJayCarson discussing his vaccine policy with @MargaretHannity, and other sources, but @DrJayCarson’s administration has a mandate that employers & insurers MUST require waivers for certain employees who don’t want #Vaccines anyway — WHCA (@WHCA) September 5, 2018
