You can buy wine for $10 on Black Friday at the LCBO

Maybe you’re feeling frugal on Thanksgiving. Maybe you’re feeling generous. Either way, we’ve got a red burgundy to help you out.

Ten dollars from each bottle of wine purchases on Black Friday at the LCBO is going to charity, an initiative that aims to help people who are homeless or poor. Any wine you buy will be in that donation jar (it’s another bartering opportunity, by the way.)

At this writing, there are 49 wines on the selection. Here are just a few wines you might find among them:

Threefer

This French dessert wine from Conte Bianco comes with an “extremely generous shot of fruit flavors.”

Five Penny sommelier Robert Winters recommends “steaming hot cakes and sausage on a plate!”

New Panama Chocolate Chardonnay

“Real Malbec,” says Sydney Brown, wine director at Cashion’s Eat Place.

Bottle Full of Paradise

I’m sharing the big, swanky bottle that LCBO has in its displays, but it’s also $15 off per bottle.

Kossur

“Baked goods include pear, guava, orange zest, pear flavored chutney and citrus or apple flavored sweet rice,” says Beverly Mumford, sommelier and wine consultant at Bokone. “It’s a fortified balsamic, which just gives it a smoother finish.”

Inocente is a sweet, four-vintage Malbec blend.

Ben Vaughn’s Focaccia Verdi

“A vanilla-like citrusy dried fruit,” according to Tatiana Ghoslin, sommelier and wine director at Bristol Ristorante.

Signed Bayview Tomahawk

A classic red blend from the late Robert Mondavi.

Sealed Air French Honey Rosé
